Catastro & Land Registry

*Catastro Or “Cadastre” which shows the exact geographic location of the home with a physical description and the boundaries of the property.

The Cadastre (Catastral)  or  “valor catastral” or “cadastral value” is the assessed value of property for tax purposes.

Every property sale must include a catastral reference in the Title Deed. When you buy a property, we send the Title Deed to the appropriate Land Registry office and also register the change of ownership in the Cadastre office.

The land registry extract is issued in Spanish by the Land Registry Office where the property is registered.  It describes the specifiications and legal status of the property as it stood at the date and time of issue as printed on the document. This document is also known as a  Nota Simple
